About Whitt Harper 

Whitt Harper has served on the Mid-FL Regional Manufacturers Association board for 12 years. He has volunteered as membership chair and funding committee chair over the past several years. He also has been the chair for the annual MRMA golf tournament for many years, the principal source for funding the scholarship’s given and program sponsorships targeting our younger aged students to introduce them to the manufacturing world. Whitt’s employer, Brown & Brown, is also the lead sponsor for the C-Suite Forum held throughout the year offering round table insights for the business leaders.

Whitt Harper has been in the Commercial Insurance space for going on 32 years. The last 21 have been with Brown & Brown’s Ocala office. He specializes in all aspects of Insurance involved with owning and running a business and how to protect the assets and employees of the business. His experience gives him an edge in the industry having experienced many situations, both good and bad, with companies. Brown & Brown is headquartered in Daytona Beach, Florida that began with a storefront in 1939. They are publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange and S&P 500. Their annual revenues now exceed 3 billion with over 12,000 teammates throughout the US and Europe with Florida having the largest presence.
