Mid-FL Regional Manufacturers Association

As of December 2, 2024, Mary Jane “Mj” Toscano is the newly appointed Director of the Mid-Florida Manufacturers Association (MRMA), where they are dedicated to advancing the interests of manufacturers across Central Florida. With a background in Human Resources for a full-service custom manufacturing facility, including design, engineering and fabrication of sheet metal components, assemblies, and finished products in Western New York for 10 years and most recently for a local beverage distribution facility in Ocala for the past 7 ½ years, Mj brings a unique understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing the region’s manufacturing, distribution, supply chain and logistics industries from a different perspective.

As Director, Mj is committed to promoting workforce development, technological innovation, and sustainable manufacturing practices, aiming to provide MRMA members with the tools, resources, and advocacy they need to thrive in today’s competitive local and global economy. Mj is passionate about fostering a culture of innovation and supporting the professional development of the region’s manufacturing workforce, focusing on creating valuable programs, advocating for the interests of local manufacturers, and positioning Central Florida as a leader in advanced manufacturing technologies.

Outside of work, Mj has been on the local board for the Ocala Human Resources Management Association (OHRMA) for the past 6 years and was a volunteer for the HRFL2024 state conference in Orlando and will be again for the upcoming HRFL2025 conference. She is passionate about the opportunities that lie ahead in this new role to mentor young professionals, support local initiatives, and participate in community events. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, disc golf, the beach and annual visits back to Western New York to visit family and friends with her husband, Joe.
