Rob Adamiak

Rob Adamiak is a seasoned manufacturing professional with over thirty years’ experience managing multi-location manufacturing operations. A graduate of Penn State University, with post graduate work at the University of Texas in Industrial Engineering, Rob started his manufacturing career with American Airlines in their food processing/manufacturing operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma before moving to their Dallas, Texas corporate Industrial Engineering Department as the Senior Industrial Engineer. He was then recruited by Eastern Airlines as Manager of Planning and Development and 2 years later was named their Director of Global Food and Beverage Operations with facilities in 101 locations throughout the world. Rob then left the airline industry to head manufacturing operations for Signature Brands, manufacturer of all confectionary and cake decorations sold under the Betty Crocker and Cake Mate brands. Rob was subsequently recruited to be Vice President/COO of Conimar Corporation, a multi-plant manufacturer of housewares, and supplier of their products to most major mass retailers, grocery store chains, and specialty shops throughout the Americas, and exporter of housewares throughout the world.

Rob currently is Executive Director of the Marion Regional Manufacturers Association, and is contracted by CareerSource CLM to coordinate all training for manufacturing and logistics in their 3 county area. In 2014 Governor Scott appointed Rob to the Board of Directors for PRIDE— Prison Rehabilitative Industries and Diversified Enterprises and he continues to serve on their Executive Board. Rob also serves or has served on the Board of Directors of the Manufacturers Association of Florida, the Marion Regional Manufacturers Association, the Ocala/Marion County Economic Development Council, and CareerSource CLM. He sits on the advisory boards for the College of Central Florida, The Marion County School Board Engage in Education Council, the Marion Technical Institute, the Withlacoochee Technical College, and the Florida Advanced Technological Education Center.

Rob is married and has 5 children and 2 grandchildren and he lives on a farm in Ocala, Florida.
